What is the Borders Disability Forum

The Borders Disability Forum exists to improve the lives of people with disabilities and sensory impairments.

We work with individuals, groups, statutory and voluntary agencies to promote the interests of disabled people, and to tackle disability issues.

Membership of the Forum is free, and open to anyone with an interest in disabilities issues.

At our Galashiels office we provide a Drop-In information and advice facility, where you can obtain up-to-date information from a broad source of leaflets, periodicals, equipment catalogues, and magazines. We also have several computer databases we can use, and internet access for the more elusive topics.

You can search for yourself, or we will help you find what you are looking for. If you can't get to the office, then contact us and we will search for you.

The Drop-In is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10.00am - 1.00pm, or any other time by arrangement.
