Lochs and reservoirs - Bemersyde Moss near St Boswells

Large marsh area with birds. Geese roost here in winter. Birdwatching is from an easy access bird hide (with ramp) a few metres through the woodland from the road verge. Information on birds inside the hide.
How to get there - From Scotts View go south into Bemersyde village and turn left. Go straight on at the first junction with the Moss visible below the road. Turn left past Whitrighill. The boardwalk ramp is on your left in the trees.
LOOK OUT FOR Blackheaded gulls,mallard ducks, tufted ducks, mute swans, dabchick, coot, moorhen. Pinkfoot and greylag geese in winter.
P parking on road verge adjacent to the Nature Reserve.
