Lochs and Reservoirs - Duns Castle Estate Nature Reserve

Path to Estate fields and Hen Poo Loch. Bench seats, Swans ducks and geese.
Hard tarmac fairly level driveway from estate entrance to Castle entrance arch. Hard tarmac level path to cattle grid. Gate beside cattle grid has gate and grassy section to further level tarmac path to loch. Bench seats by loch with views across loch to Duns Castle and woodland. Woodland on the estate is managed with the Scottish Wildlife Trust for the benefit of local wildlife.

Look out for - Mute Swans, Greylag geese, Mallard ducks, coot, moorhen, and a friendly local who regularly feeds the ducks.

Parking - at entrance to Duns Castle Nature Reserve, Duns.
Toilets - Nearest toilets including wheelchair access RADAR toilet in Duns.
