Gunsknowe Loch, Tweedbank
Hard path all the way around the pond. There is also access on some level tarmac paths in park area around it. Bench seats. A wide variety of wildfowl. Village shop adjacent to pond access by gently sloping tarmac paths.
Look out for: mallards, swans, coots, tufted duck, moorhen, greylag geese, black headed gulls.
In summer nesting birds include mute swan and coot
Parking : Car park by Loch. Ramp access is on left of car park if facing pond. Wide tarmac ramp to pondside.
Toilets : Nearest Wheelchair access RADAR lock toilets - Galashiels, Melrose.
